Host A Texas-Style Dinner Party This Weekend!

Is it just us or did this week fly by? We are ready to kick off our boots and say a unanimous, “Thank goodness it’s Friday!” How about you? Hopefully your full week has come to an end and you are ready to have a nice, fun weekend.

A great way to rejuvenate is by spending time with good friends. The weekends are the perfect time for hosting dinner parties. For some, getting the guests to come is easy, but figuring out the menu can take some time. The idea is to make it fun! Coming up with a theme can make it even easier – should it be Hawaiian, Mexican, Asian, American, or our favorite – Texan?! Texan meals bring the hearty to the party. A great Texas Chili paired with some Texas-shaped tortilla chips and salsa ranchera is always a tasty crowd-pleaser.

Making Texas Chili is too easy! Simply cook up your beef, cut up some onions, tomatoes, beans, and throw our Chili Seasoning into the crock pot in the morning, set it on low, and it will be ready for dinner. Adding a side of Texas-shaped tortilla chips and salsa ranchera would make for the perfect meal. Don’t be afraid to make a centerpiece with a cowboy hat, a red bandana lining it, and a small plant placed inside the upside-down hat. Turn on some Texas music like the Randy Rogers band and have an ice chest full of some Texas-brewed Shiner Beer and have a good ‘ole time.

This will be the easiest and most delicious dinner party you’ll ever host – so go for it. No excuses! Cheers to a great weekend. TGIF!
