What’s Cookin’ in Texas on the 4th of July?

As we gear up to celebrate and honor the most significant national holiday, Independence Day, we were wondering what cooking trends are out there in Texas that have fellow Americans excited about celebrating our Freedom and Independence.

Barbecue and grilling trends show that some unorthodox meats are being eaten and enjoyed in 2013. Cocktail Concoctions: Cocktails are always a must have drink at a bar or restaurant, but these new cocktails that are trending now, have taken on a life of their own. Culinary cocktails are all the rage this summer. Have you ever tasted a bacon infused bourbon or had farm fresh ingredients in your Bloody Mary? Culinary cocktails like a Smoked Lemon or Peaches and Sugarcane Cocktail are the perfect drink to have compliment the BBQ flavors coming out of the smoker or grill.
