Spring is coming! Can you hear it?

All across Texas, the sun is beginning to shine through the gray clouds, the temperature is slowly rising and icy car windshields are being replaced with cool, dew-dropped mornings.  Spring is coming! Spring is coming!

Our favorite ambassadors of springtime, the perky faces of bluebonnets are popping up all over the Lone Star State and people are beginning to come out of the woodwork and enjoy the enthralling outdoors. In addition to the beautiful geography, Texas skies become filled with music of all kinds of varieties! From Celtic Music to Indie rock bands, the month of March sets the stage for a musical symphony in the Lone Star State.

banjo music - labeled for reuseAs you begin to make plans to welcome the Spring, don’t miss out on all of the festivals, fun and concerts taking place throughout the month! This week the SXSW Festival is happening in Austin, the last minute touches for a Polka music festival are being made in Halletsville, TX and the Nederland Heritage Festival is kicking off! If your musical tastebuds prefer R&B, Cajun, Country, Rock, Classical or anything in between — we’ve got you covered!

For venues that allow you to bring your own treats and refreshments, don’t forget to pack your bag with some of our delicious Texas Treats! We’re counting on the sun to just shine brighter and brighter, so avoid snacks that melt and take with you some salty treats instead.

What are some of your favorite sounds of Springtime?
